Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Rolls Up Sleeves to Support Youth Startups... 10 Million KRW Each for 5 Teams
[Asia Economy (Bucheon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation is launching support for youth manufacturing startups through the 'Youth Dream Master' program, targeting young people under the age of 39 in the province.
Youth Dream Master is the foundation's first youth-specialized startup initiative, aimed at discovering promising young manufacturing companies and providing customized support tailored to startup demand.
The program supports prototype planning and production for youth sprout companies specializing in manufacturing within the province (pre-startups and early-stage startups).
The foundation previously selected five teams for support, including ▲development of eco-friendly plant-based fabric (Jeon In-ho) ▲development of a tumbler cleaning machine (Park Seung-duk) ▲home training module development (Choi Hoe-jung) ▲pet dog bite accident prevention products (Shin Dong-young) ▲facility inspection drones (Kim Young-mi).
The foundation provides each supported team with 10 million KRW for prototype production and assists in resolving difficulties during the manufacturing process through mentoring by professional engineers. Additionally, it organizes investment attraction (IR) competitions in collaboration with related organizations to support further investment attraction and market development.
