National Pension Service to Increase KEPCO Stake to 10%
Korea Electric Power Corporation announced on the 10th that the National Pension Service has submitted an application for approval to acquire a large volume of shares to the Financial Services Commission.
Currently, the National Pension Service owns 42,124,991 shares (6.56%) of Korea Electric Power Corporation, and the shares planned to be acquired amount to 22,071,416 shares (3.44%), which will increase the ownership ratio to 10% after acquisition. The number of shares planned to be acquired and the ownership ratio represent the maximum acquisition limit, which is not yet confirmed.

The purpose of the acquisition is to expand the stake in a leading domestic company, and the shares will be acquired at market price through the stock market according to the fund's management decisions. The acquisition period is three years from the date of approval.
