Namwon-si 'Social Enterprise Academy' Successfully Concluded
[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] Namwon City, Jeonbuk recently announced on the 10th that it operated the '2022 Social Enterprise Transition Academy' for individuals and groups interested in establishing social economy enterprises, producing 24 graduates.
Held at the newly renovated Namwon Community Support Center training hall, this academy consisted of people-centered social economy, understanding social enterprise support systems, and meetings with senior social entrepreneurs, with more participants than initially planned.
In particular, the senior enterprise cases presented on the last day of the academy provided vivid experiences and know-how according to step-by-step growth policies from the 'Social Entrepreneur Fostering Project' to 'Preliminary Stage Designation' and 'Social Enterprise Certification,' adding a sense of realism.
One graduate of this course said, "I was satisfied to learn detailed information and cases about social enterprises, which I had been interested in," and added, "It was a valuable time to understand that a clear social value aimed at solving community problems is essential to enter as a social enterprise."
The Social Economy Team of the Namwon Community Support Center, which organized this event, plans to continuously nurture and support prospective social economy groups through follow-up consulting by compiling the trainees' satisfaction survey results and improvement suggestions.
