Combining Home Appliance Rental Services... LG Uplus Launches 'Hello Rental Subscription Pack'
LG Uplus employees are introducing rental home appliances and the Hello Rental subscription pack.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] LG Uplus launched the ‘Hello Rental Subscription Pack’ on the 10th, which combines telecommunication services with home appliance rental services.
The Hello Rental Subscription Pack is a product that combines LTE·5G plans with home appliance rental services provided by LG HelloVision, offering a monthly discount on rental service fees. The products eligible for combined discounts include a total of 22 items and 71 models such as massage chairs, TVs, water purifiers, air conditioners, and cordless vacuum cleaners. Rental fees vary by item, ranging from around 8,000 KRW to 30,000 KRW per month.
Customers who wish to subscribe can choose from four plans: ▲5G Premier Plus (105,000 KRW/month) ▲5G Premier Super (115,000 KRW/month) ▲5G Signature (130,000 KRW/month) ▲LTE Premier Plus (105,000 KRW/month), and then select the Hello Rental Subscription Pack. Customers using the Hello Rental Subscription Pack will receive a full waiver of rental fees for the first month (promotion limited to customers subscribing by the end of 2022) and a monthly discount of up to 8,800 KRW from the following month.
A partnership card promotion is also underway to reduce the burden of rental service fees. Customers using the Hello Rental Subscription Pack who issue one of the partner cards from KB Kookmin, Hyundai, Shinhan, Lotte, etc., can receive an additional monthly discount of up to 16,000 KRW depending on their card usage performance in the previous month.

For example, if a Hello Rental Subscription Pack user issues a partner card and spends more than 300,000 KRW monthly on the card, the rental fee for a 55-inch TV worth 36,900 KRW per month will be reduced to 12,100 KRW, including the Hello Rental Subscription Pack discount (8,800 KRW) and the partner card discount (16,000 KRW).
