Gwangju Seobu Fire Station Operates 'Our Home Inspection Day'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] On the 9th, the Gwangju Western Fire Station announced that it operated a 'Home Inspection Day' as a fire safety management measure for apartment complexes without sprinkler systems.
The Western Fire Station conducted fire safety consulting by visiting two apartment complexes in the jurisdiction that are over 20 years old and do not have sprinklers installed. They also used the apartment complex bulletin boards to provide guidance such as prohibiting the use of elevators during evacuation.
Through the apartment's own announcement system, they also communicated measures to prevent careless fire causes such as cigarette butts and prohibited placing objects at entrances (emergency exits).
