Saltware Obtains Official Kubernetes Certification
Acquired Ahead of Major Domestic Cloud Service Providers
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Saltware, a cloud service specialist company preparing for a SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) listing in the second half of the year, announced on the 9th that it recently obtained the Kubernetes Service Provider (KCSP) certification from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Kubernetes is a system that enables rapid automation of cloud-based applications.
KCSP is a partner certification program granted to companies with service capabilities such as support and consulting for Kubernetes, operated by the Linux Foundation (LF) and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). To acquire the Kubernetes Service Provider (KCSP) certification, a company must have engineers certified as Kubernetes Administrators (CKA) and have actual Kubernetes deployment cases.
Saltware obtained the KCSP certification ahead of major domestic MSPs (Managed Service Providers). This presents a great opportunity to expand influence amid the increasing adoption of Kubernetes both globally and domestically.
As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) partner, Saltware plans to strengthen its Kubernetes-related business following the acquisition of the KCSP certification. Recently, Saltware successfully supported the containerization of the infrastructure of Refine, a real estate rights investigation agency, using Amazon EKS. The company plans to significantly enhance support for Amazon EKS and focus on customer acquisition. Saltware stated, “We plan to greatly expand technical support by establishing a Kubernetes center and providing consulting on open-source areas that can be added on to Kubernetes beyond Amazon EKS.”
