Showers will fall from noon to evening on the 9th in the metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, inland Chungcheong, eastern inland Jeonbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk. Precipitation is expected to be 5-40mm in inland Chungcheong, eastern inland Jeonbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk, and 5-20mm in the metropolitan area and inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon.
In Seoul and other metropolitan areas as well as inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, rain of 5-20mm is expected not only during the day but also between dawn and morning due to the influence of a pressure trough passing through the north. The northern part of Chungcheong is also expected to receive the same amount of rain in the morning.
The lowest temperature on the morning of the 9th is forecast to be 12-18℃, and the highest temperature during the day is expected to be 19-27℃, which is around the average for this time of year. However, the daytime temperature will be relatively cool, around 20℃, on the eastern coast of Gangwon and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk due to cold easterly winds.
