Hong Taeyong, Governor-Elect, Announces Transition Committee for Mayor of Gimhae, Gyeongnam

The 9th Gyeongnam Gimhae Mayor Transition Committee was launched, and a plaque ceremony was held.

Mayor-elect Hong established the transition committee office at the Gimhae Small and Medium Business Center and held a plaque unveiling ceremony on the same day.
The transition committee consists of a total of 15 members divided into four subcommittees: Administrative Welfare, Industrial Economy, Urban Construction, and Culture and Education, with separate advisory members appointed.
Kim Jaewon, Dean of the College of Aviation at Silla University, was appointed as the chair of the transition committee, with Oh Jangseok, Executive Director of the Gyeongnam Innovation Forum, and Jang Seongdong, former adjunct professor at Dong-A University, appointed as vice chairs.
The Administrative Welfare subcommittee includes Seo Jonggil, a tax accountant; Kim Gyeongran, former chairperson of the Daechung High School Operations Committee; and Kwon Woohyun, former president of the Gimhae Disabled Persons Association. The Industrial Economy subcommittee is composed of Kim Seongwoo, auditor of the Gimhae Chamber of Commerce; Heo Jeomdo, former chairperson of the Gimhae Citizen Policy Council; and Lee Gyubeom, former branch manager of Gyeongnam Bank.
The Urban Construction subcommittee is led by Kim Minjae, professor at Inje University; Han Hyeonho, head of the corporate research institute at Woosung Nature; and Park Youngmun, a former public official. The Culture and Education subcommittee includes Kang Byeongil, dean of academic affairs at Gaya University; Ok Yeongsun, former secretary-general of YWCA; and Kim Seonghun, president of the Korea Federation of Arts and Culture Organizations Gimhae branch.
From the 13th to the 17th, the subcommittee members will attend major issue briefings, and the committee will conduct a preliminary review of the mayor-elect’s campaign promises, with activities scheduled to continue until the 28th of this month.
