"Apartment Basement Spaces Also Upgraded"…Hyundai Construction Unveils New Design
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Hyundai Engineering & Construction unveiled a new design to be applied to the underground spaces of 'THE H' on the 8th.
The design concept, created in collaboration with the architectural firm 'Seo Architects,' is 'TIMELESS.' Pursuing the enhancement of underground space quality, it consists of ▲ 'EXTRACT,' which removes elements except for the minimum necessary functions ▲ 'EXPOSE,' which reveals the structures forming the underground parking space ▲ and 'SIMPLIFY,' which adheres to the principle of simplicity in expression.
The design covers everything from apartment vehicle entry and exit areas to ramps, vehicle pathways, and parking sections, and design guidelines including THE H's colors and signage will also be applied to individual building and community entrances outside the underground space. The new design is scheduled to be implemented starting in the second half of this year.
