The company plans to showcase its logistics infrastructure and integrated membership, and reveal to the public the future blueprint of the 'online-offline ecosystem' it pursues.
SSG.com announced on the 8th that it will participate in the '2022 Digital Distribution Expo' hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul until the 10th. During this period, SSG.com will operate a large exhibition booth on the 3rd floor of the venue, divided into a 'Brand Zone' showcasing differentiated services such as the integrated membership 'Smile Club,' an 'Advanced Distribution System Zone' introducing cutting-edge logistics infrastructure, and a 'Brand Campaign Zone' focused on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) management activities.
What draws attention in the 'Brand Zone' is the 'Smile Club,' which was first introduced last month. It also presents the development direction as a core pillar of the 'Shinsegae Universe,' encompassing membership benefits and online-offline affiliates. Key services such as the premium supermarket 'SSG Food Market,' the fresh food quality assurance system 'Fresh Guarantee,' and the proprietary live commerce 'SSG.Live' can also be experienced.
In the 'Advanced Distribution System Zone,' the logistics network reinforcement strategy centered on the online automated logistics center 'NE.O' and the large PP center, which integrates automation equipment into the online grocery order processing space behind E-Mart to increase productivity, is introduced. Visitors can also explore proprietary delivery services based on logistics infrastructure, such as the time-specified weekly delivery service 'SSG Delivery' and 'Dawn Delivery.'
The 'Brand Campaign Zone' places emphasis on introducing eco-friendly delivery and campaigns, as well as product responsibility services. Representative examples include the reusable cooling bag 'RB Bag,' the digital luxury certificate 'SSG Guarantee,' and the 'Hazardous Product Blocking System' through robotic process automation.
Events for visitors to the exhibition booth are also prepared. Visitors who take a certification photo at the SSG.com booth and upload it on Instagram with the required hashtags will receive an 'RB Bag' as a souvenir, limited to 300 people per day. There is also a goods giveaway event for visitors who sign up as integrated members of SSG.com. New members will receive one of four types of goods?tumbler, Lamy pen, portable battery, or diary?on a first-come, first-served basis.
On-site consultation services are also provided for visitors and participating companies wishing to establish partnerships with SSG.com. If a consultation is reserved at the info desk set up at the exhibition booth, an appropriate representative will be connected according to the inquiry.
