POSCO Supports Employment for 'Youth Job Seekers' with Pohang Employment Welfare Plus Center

Attending the business agreement ceremony were Oh Young-geun, Director of the Pohang Employment Welfare Plus Center, and Ko Sang-min, Head of POSCO's Cooperation and Win-Win Group, among others.
The Pohang Employment Welfare Plus Center is an institution under the Ministry of Employment and Labor that provides integrated welfare services related to employment, such as vocational training and job placement.
According to this business agreement, POSCO will provide information related to recruitment at POSCO and its partner companies, as well as education for those wishing to work at Pohang Steelworks' partner companies, while the Employment Welfare Plus Center will support the recruitment of participants for POSCO's job seeker education programs.
Additionally, under the agreement, the Employment Welfare Plus Center plans to provide administrative support so that companies hiring trainees participating in POSCO's job seeker education programs can receive government incentive benefits such as wage support and mentoring allowances.
POSCO's "Partner Company Job Seeker Education Program" is a representative employment support program operated by POSCO.
POSCO offers job seekers in the metal and steel sectors the opportunity to build practical skills while receiving substantial employment support by providing graduates of the education program with interview opportunities at machinery, electrical, and operations partner companies at Pohang Steelworks.
Currently, POSCO is recruiting applicants for the Partner Company Job Seeker Education Program, and recruitment continues until the 10th.
This training will be held over two months from June 24 to August 26 at the POSCO Talent Creation Center in Pohang. The training is fully free, including lodging and meals, and participants will receive a monthly training allowance of 800,000 KRW.
