Customized Technical Consulting for Resolving Technical Difficulties and Support for Export Expansion
Gyeongbuk Technopark signed a cooperation MOU for textile machinery companies between the Korea Textile Machinery Association and the Guatemala Textile Industry Association in Guatemala City on the 26th of last month.

This project is part of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's Industrial Trade Cooperation Development Support Project (ODA), through which Gyeongbuk Technopark has been providing customized technical consulting to solve technical difficulties for local textile companies and supporting the export expansion of domestic textile companies since 2019.
According to the agreement between the Korea Textile Machinery Association and VESTEX, both organizations plan to establish a joint business cooperation system for supporting textile machinery companies and developing the textile industry between the two countries, including ▲support for activating exports and imports ▲cooperation for attracting investment and improving corporate productivity ▲holding cooperative seminars and workshops for technology exchange ▲mutual exchange for strengthening human resources and organizational development.
The association delegation visited Guatemala from the 23rd to the 27th of last month with domestic textile experts to attend the Latin American textile exhibition (Apparel Sourcing Show).
Through this, they explored the possibility of opening export routes to Latin America for domestic textile and textile machinery companies and also conducted technical consulting for local companies.
