Unison Selected as Lead Institution for 10MW-Class Offshore Wind Power National Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Myunghwan Lee] Unison announced on the 7th that it has been selected as the lead institution for a national project to develop and demonstrate a 10MW-class offshore wind power generation system.
The total project cost amounts to 28.40928 billion KRW, including 18 billion KRW in government grants, which corresponds to 23.1% of the company's equity capital.
The project period is from April 1 to March 31, 2025.

The company stated, "By developing an offshore low-wind-speed model tailored to domestic conditions and enhancing durability through the application of a direct-drive drivetrain, we expect to secure competitiveness in the offshore wind power market with the development of the largest capacity offshore wind power generation system in Korea."
