Volkswagen Financial Services Korea Appoints Park Yung-geun as New CEO
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Volkswagen Financial Services Korea announced on the 7th that it has appointed Park Yung-geun as the new CEO.
Appointed at the end of last month, Park studied at New York University Stern School and University of Pennsylvania Wharton School, and is a financial expert with overseas experience in New York Wall Street investment banking and the automotive finance industry. He joined Volkswagen Financial Services' German headquarters in 2016 as an executive in the finance division, and from 2018 to the following year, served as the head of Volkswagen Financial Services Taiwan branch.
He joined Volkswagen Financial Services Korea in 2019 and has been overseeing internal organizational management including finance. Recognized for his management achievements at the Korean branch, he has been leading the Korean market as CEO since May 31 of this year.
