Summer Season Arrives... SK Stoa Food Partners Undergo Safety Inspection

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] SK Stoa announced on the 7th that it conducted a safety inspection by visiting the manufacturing site of Sekwang Food, a food partner producing Walkerhill Hotel kimchi, on the 3rd.
This food safety inspection was carried out to prevent quality accidents between SK Stoa and its partners amid the increasing importance of food hygiene during the summer season.
Kim Jungwoo, Head of the Management Support Group at SK Stoa, and quality control team members visited Sekwang Food, the Walkerhill Hotel kimchi manufacturer located in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, to inspect the hygiene of the manufacturing process, the foreign substance management process, and to check the claim management process.
Additionally, SK Stoa provided its food safety guide and mutually agreed to strive for quality control so that customers can trust and consume the food safely. Lastly, SK Stoa, Walkerhill Hotel, and Sekwang Food exchanged opinions on operating a thorough management system to prevent hygiene issues in raw materials and manufacturing processes.
SK Stoa plans to continue having quality control team members visit food partner manufacturing sites regularly to conduct hygiene inspections and provide food safety guides. If necessary, they will also work directly with partners to discuss improvements.
