Ministry of the Interior and Safety Supports Overseas Expansion of Small and Medium Elevator Manufacturers... Online Overseas Export Consultation Meeting
Recruitment of Participating Companies Until the 22nd
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 7th that it will recruit participating companies for the 'Online Overseas Export Consultation' from the 8th to the 22nd, in cooperation with the Korea Elevator Safety Agency, to revitalize overseas market development for domestic elevator SMEs that have been stagnated due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The Online Overseas Export Consultation is a project that supports customized one-on-one matching between overseas buyers and domestic elevator SMEs, which have faced difficulties securing overseas markets due to COVID-19, to promote their overseas expansion and increase exports.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety plans to select participating companies by evaluating applicants based on criteria such as whether they qualify as domestic SMEs, export volume over the past five years, corporate competitiveness including intellectual property rights and certifications, and participation records in domestic and international exhibitions.
In addition to this online overseas export consultation, the Ministry plans to continuously expand and promote various projects to develop new markets for the elevator industry, which has been depressed due to COVID-19, including supporting domestic elevator SMEs' participation in the China International Elevator Expo scheduled to be held in Shanghai, China, this October.
