[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province will hold an additional recruitment for the '2022 Performance Venue Rental Fee Support' recipients until the 17th.
The performance venue rental fee support project is promoted by Yongin City to revitalize the performance and exhibition fields and to encourage the creative motivation of local artists and art organizations.
It supports up to 5 million KRW, covering up to 90% of the rental fees for performance and exhibition halls and cultural centers in the province, as well as no-audience filming costs for non-face-to-face performances.
Any professional art corporations, groups, general art organizations, or artists active in the region can apply.
Applicants can download the application form from the announcement section on the city’s website, fill it out, and submit it in person to the Culture and Arts Division or send it via email to the person in charge (kjh0219@korea.kr).
The city will review the appropriateness of the project plan, contribution to local cultural development, and performance records over the past two years to finalize the support recipients by next month.
