The fire, which broke out at around 11:25 AM in the tire yard where waste tires were piled up, was put out after about 8 hours and 20 minutes by 31 firefighting vehicles and 78 firefighters.
According to the fire authorities, approximately 750 tons of waste tires were destroyed in the fire, but there were no casualties.
