Hankichong Decides to Proceed with Integration with Hankyocheong at Temporary General Meeting
[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] The Christian Council of Korea held the 1st extraordinary general meeting of 2022 on the 3rd floor auditorium of the Korea Christian Federation Hall on the 2nd, passing the agenda for institutional integration with the Korea Christian Federation (HanGyoChong). The agenda for institutional integration was passed with 70 votes in favor, 64 against, and 1 abstention out of 135 voters.

Interim Representative Chairman Lawyer Kim Hyun-sung said, “Since the formation of the Institutional Integration Preparation Committee in August last year, discussions and consultations with HanGyoChong and HanGyoYeon have been conducted, and the results were submitted to the executive committee and the steering committee, leading to today’s extraordinary general meeting where it was passed by the decision of the general assembly delegates,” adding, “Based on this result, we hope to continue the integration process with HanGyoChong and achieve complete institutional integration.”
