BioX Presents Green Hydrogen Achievements at the Korean Society of Industrial Chemistry Conference
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] BioX announced on the 3rd that it attended the ‘2022 Spring General Meeting and Academic Conference of the Korean Society of Industrial Chemistry’ hosted by the Korean Society of Industrial Chemistry and presented its achievements.
With experts from various fields such as nano, chemical processes, polymers, biotechnology, environment, and energy in attendance, BioX disclosed achievements related to green hydrogen technology development under the theme of ‘Technology to convert food waste wastewater into hydrogen using microbial fuel cells.’
In the presentation, BioX introduced hydrogen production yield, high-purity hydrogen concentration, and continuous operation data produced through the HAAMA process, a green hydrogen conversion system utilizing food waste. This attracted significant attention from many researchers. The green hydrogen conversion system HAAMA process is currently being demonstrated at a livestock manure and food waste joint resource facility located in Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.
A BioX company official stated, "Participating in the academic conference provided an opportunity to introduce BioX’s technological capabilities and expand our network with various researchers." He added, "Based on ongoing research results not only on food waste wastewater but also on various organic wastes, we plan to create interesting achievements."
BioX will present its achievements on the topic of ‘Energy production and treatment using microbial electro-technology ? Development of an integrated process to improve hydrogen production efficiency using organic waste’ at the academic conference of the Korean Society of Environmental Engineers, a leading domestic environmental society, scheduled to be held on the 30th at Suwon Convention Center.
