President Yoon Appoints Kim Su-yeon as 2nd Deputy Director of NIS and Cho Sang-jun as Chief of Staff (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] Kim Suyeon, former head of the National Intelligence Service's Counterintelligence Investigation Bureau, has been appointed as the 2nd Deputy Director of the National Intelligence Service, and Cho Sangjun, former Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office, has been appointed as the Director of the Planning and Coordination Office.
On the 3rd, President Yoon Seok-yeol announced the appointment of a total of five additional personnel, including the 2nd Deputy Director of the National Intelligence Service and the Director of the Planning and Coordination Office.
In addition to the National Intelligence Service, Yoon Suhyun, a standing member of the Fair Trade Commission, was appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Fair Trade Commission; Park Yoonkyu, Director of the Information and Communication Policy Bureau at the Ministry of Science and ICT, was appointed as the 2nd Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and ICT; and Park Seonggeun, former prosecutor at the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office, was appointed as the Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister.
