Yeosu City and Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission Jointly Operate the 'Running People's Petition Center'
On the 15th from 10 AM to 4 PM at Yeosu City Hall 3rd Floor Meeting Room
Consultations with Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission Specialist Investigators and Others
[Yeosu=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Cheol-hoon] Jeonnam Yeosu City announced on the 3rd that the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission will jointly operate the ‘Running National Ombudsman’ from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 15th of this month.
The ‘Running National Ombudsman’ is a visiting rights relief service where the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission directly visits the site to listen to and resolve the grievances of local residents.
During this visit to Yeosu, 18 counselors including specialized investigators from various fields of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and counselors from cooperating organizations will conduct consultations.
Consultations will be conducted in all areas connected to citizens’ lives, including administration, national defense, police, consumer damage, finance, and medical care.
Meanwhile, Yeosu City is accepting consultation reservations until the 7th to ensure smooth consultation proceedings.
Civilians can visit the Citizen Sympathy Office’s Rapid Civil Complaints Team or the Eup/Myeon/Dong community centers to fill out an application form in advance. On-site registration on the day is also possible.
A city official said, “Specialized counselors from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and cooperating organizations will visit to provide in-depth consultations. We hope that those who have had difficulty resolving civil complaints or need expert consultation will take this opportunity to receive detailed guidance.”
