Book the Direct Train on Incheon Airport Mobile App and Get a Discount
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 3rd that it has signed a business agreement with Airport Railroad and started a discount marketing campaign for the direct train running between Incheon Airport and Seoul Station from the 30th of last month.
Amid the recovery of international flight demand thanks to the government's overseas entry management system reform and the expansion of international flights, Airport Railroad resumed the direct train service between Seoul Station and Incheon Airport, which had been suspended due to COVID-19, from the 30th of last month.
The corporation prepared a discount marketing campaign through the convenient Incheon Airport mobile app to encourage passengers who are resuming overseas travel after COVID-19 in line with the resumption of the direct train service.
Any passenger wishing to use the direct train can purchase tickets at about a 15% discount by accessing the Airport Railroad reservation site through the Incheon Airport mobile app. After accessing the Incheon Airport mobile app and making a reservation through the ‘Public Transportation → Airport Railroad → Airport Railroad Reservation Discount’ menu, passengers can use the direct train immediately by scanning the issued QR code at the gate.
The corporation plans to prepare various service promotions to improve transportation convenience and user satisfaction for passengers visiting the airport through mutual cooperation with Airport Railroad in the future.
