Emart Launches Price Stabilization Campaign During Holiday Period
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Emart announced on the 3rd that it will hold the ‘e-Nal Special Price’ event during the holiday period to reduce the burden of grocery prices and start discounts on outing foods and price stabilization events.
Emart will hold a three-day event from the 4th to the 6th, offering various products with 1+1 deals and discounts of up to 50%.
First, for camping and outing foods, beef, pork belly, and pork neck will be discounted up to 50% by day, and five popular camping side dishes (Mokwoochon BIG Brunch Buerst, Daelim Kravia 2 types, Dongwon Barun Fish Cake assorted 2 types) will be offered in a 1+1 promotion.
Popular Kitchen Deli event products will be discounted by 20% when Shinsegae points are accumulated, with ‘Sushi-e Choice Sushi (18 pieces)’ sold for 12,784 KRW and ‘Amazing Yubu Sushi (9 pieces)’ for 5,824 KRW.
Additionally, all ‘Comex Ice Boxes, Cooler Bags, and Ice Packs’ will be discounted by 40%, and ‘Sun Care’ event products will be discounted up to 50%. Representative products include the ‘Comex Picnic Ice Box 14ℓ’ priced at 30,000 KRW and the ‘Nivea Light Sun Serum 90㎖’ at 8,910 KRW.
As representative products for price stabilization, ‘Imat Rice (10kg, domestic)’ will be discounted by 6,000 KRW with Shinsegae points accumulation, priced at 23,900 KRW, and ‘Chestnut Sweet Potatoes (2kg/10,980 KRW)’ will be offered in a 1+1 event.
Daily necessities such as detergents, fabric softeners, hair treatments, facial cleansing products, toothbrushes, and wet tissues will be 50% off when purchasing two event products. Representative items include all ‘Persil, P&G, Riqua, Downy laundry detergents’ and ‘Downy fabric softeners (2ℓ/2.6ℓ).’
Home appliances can also be purchased at a discount when paying with event cards. The ‘Electroman Standard Fan’ is offered at 29,900 KRW after a 15,000 KRW discount, and the ‘Cuchen 6-person IH Rice Cooker (CRT-RPK0670BE)’ is available for 299,000 KRW after a 30,000 KRW discount.
Popular processed food events will be held with special prices this weekend. On Saturday the 4th only, all bagged ramen products will be offered in a 2+1 promotion. There is a limit of 9 bags per person, excluding No Brand, Peacock, and Shin Ramyun 20-packs.
During the weekend of the 4th and 5th, seven types of cake snacks including Mon Cher and Oh Yes, as well as frozen pork cutlets, frozen dumplings, cold noodles (2 servings), young radish kimchi, cereals, pasta sauces, and all jelly products will be sold in a 1+1 promotion. No Brand and Peacock products are excluded.
