On the 2nd, On-site Meeting in Cheonan to Support Reboot of Diligent Failed Businesses
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 2nd that it held an on-site meeting with re-startup small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that passed the sincere management evaluation at Taehyun System (CEO Jang Tae-ho) located in Cheonan, Chungnam.
SBC prepared the meeting to identify the policy needs of re-startup SMEs and to promote institutional improvements based on them.
The entrepreneurs attending the meeting conveyed voices from the field, including ▲expansion of various policy supports for companies that passed the sincere management evaluation ▲strengthening policy-linked support such as funding, marketing, and manpower ▲the necessity of introducing a rapid re-startup support system.
Chairman Kim said, "SBC is currently supporting 100 billion KRW in re-startup funds to support sincere failed entrepreneurs' re-challenge this year," adding, "In particular, excellent sincere managers who passed the in-depth sincere management evaluation are given the benefit of rapid support by allocating a separate budget for re-startup funds." He continued, "We are collaborating with related organizations to support exemption from document evaluation for the re-challenge success package and priority recommendation for startup growth R&D support, and in the second half of the year, we plan to provide linked support such as sincere management evaluation mentoring and specialized re-startup education."

Following the meeting, Chairman Kim visited the production site of Taehyun System to listen to on-site difficulties and presented the first excellent sincere manager certificate to CEO Jang Tae-ho. SBC has previously supported Taehyun System with re-startup funds. Chairman Kim emphasized, "SBC will do its best to establish an institutional foundation that can support sincere failed entrepreneurs to overcome crises, succeed in re-challenges, and continue innovative growth."
