[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] The Home&Shopping employee volunteer group ‘Home&Smile’ announced on the 1st that they conducted a ‘Companion Tree Planting and Terrace Garden Creation Campaign’ at Edel Village, a child care facility located in Cheonwang-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul, to commemorate the 11th anniversary of the company’s founding and Environment Day.
The Home&Smile volunteer group planted 18 types of trees including cherry blossom, magnolia, lilac, climbing rose, and Chinese quince around the parking lot, playground, and courtyard of the facility together with about 50 female children admitted to Edel Village due to various family issues. They also created a garden in the terrace space on the second floor of the facility.
