A Horse in His 60s Falls... Returns Alone to the Riding Arena
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Se-eun] A man in his 60s who was riding a horse fell off, causing the horse to run alone for about 4 km on the road.
Incheon Western Police Station received a report at around 9:31 a.m. on the 1st that a horse was running alone on a road near the Asiad Main Stadium in Yeonhui-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon.
The incident was confirmed to have occurred when a man in his 60s, Mr. A, was riding a horse at a riding experience center in Sicheon-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon, heading toward Cheongna International City.
The horse ran about 4 km from the Asiad Main Stadium and returned to the riding experience center, the starting point, 12 minutes after the report was received. The police who responded to the report controlled some vehicles to ensure the horse could safely return to the riding experience center.
A police official stated, "Since the horse was well-trained, it was able to return to the riding experience center on its own," and added, "Mr. A was issued a warning under the Minor Offenses Act."
