Reflection of High School Curriculum in University Entrance Evaluation... Dong-Eui University Selected for University Contribution to High School Education Support Project
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dong-Eui University was recently selected for the '2022~2024 University Support Project Contributing to High School Education' announced by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Council for University Education.
Dong-Eui University will receive 920 million KRW annually for three years through this project selection.
The support funds will be used for fair and transparent college admission process management and active high school cooperation activities in preparation for changes in the high school curriculum.
To support the operation of the high school credit system, programs supporting curriculum operation, career design, and major design will be operated to motivate students' learning and enhance their career exploration capabilities.
To reduce the burden on examinees, various college admission information will be provided through mock admissions, admission briefings and fairs, and online/offline one-on-one customized admission counseling.
Kim Sam-yeol, Director of Admissions and Public Relations at Dong-Eui University, said, "In preparation for changes in the high school curriculum, we will strengthen collaboration with high schools and education offices, and aim to solidify the operation of the comprehensive student record admission process by enhancing the expertise of admissions officers and ensuring fairness and reliability in evaluation content."

The 'University Support Project Contributing to High School Education' is a project promoted to operate college admissions fairly and transparently, reflect the high school curriculum in college admission evaluations, reduce students' admission burdens, and enhance the quality of high school education. Ninety-one universities nationwide were selected for the 2022~2024 project.
