According to the Yeosu Fire Station on the 31st, the explosion took place around 11:51 a.m. in a second-floor office within the Yeosu National Industrial Complex in Yeosu City, Jeollanam-do. Three people sustained minor injuries and were transported to a hospital for treatment.
The explosion's shock caused some damage to the office exterior wall made of sandwich panels, but it did not lead to a fire.
The fire authorities deployed 17 fire trucks and 54 personnel, including 119 rescue team members, to conduct firefighting and rescue operations. They have determined that there is no further risk of additional casualties.
