A man in his 30s was caught in the act and arrested by the police after repeatedly smashing an officetel door lock and doorbell with a hammer.

Busan Saha Police Station announced on the 31st that they arrested and detained a man in his 30s, identified as A, on charges of special property damage.
A is accused of damaging the door locks of 26 households and the doorbells of 10 households from the 2nd to the 8th floor of an officetel in Hadandong, Saha-gu, Busan, around 5 p.m. on the 27th, using a hammer he had prepared in advance.
Investigations revealed that A had lived in the officetel until October of last year before moving elsewhere.
While residing in the officetel, A did not pay rent for several months, but it was confirmed that there were no significant disputes with the building manager.
