Gyeonggawon Establishes 'Smart Work Center' at Northern Regional Center
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency has opened a 'Smart Work Center' at the Northern Region Center of the agency located in Songwoo-ri, Pocheon-si, to improve work convenience for small and medium-sized enterprises in the province.
The agency announced on the 29th that it recently established one medium conference room and two small conference rooms at the Northern Smart Work Center, and installed office desks for individual work as well as wired and wireless internet and printer facilities.
The medium conference room accommodates 12 people and is equipped with a beam projector and video camera. The small conference rooms, designed for 3 to 4 people, have online video consultation equipment including HD cameras, speakers, microphones, a 55-inch large TV display, and PCs, enabling small-scale meetings.

Park Jong-young, head of the Regional Specialized Industry Headquarters at the agency, said, "The Smart Work Center was established to resolve on-site difficulties and enhance customer satisfaction for businesspeople in northern Gyeonggi, where infrastructure conditions are relatively poor." He added, "We will continue to spare no effort to support the work of small and medium-sized enterprises in Gyeonggi."
