Jeong Han-mil entered the Korean Tour in 2017 but has yet to secure a victory. His best result was second place at the KEB Hana Bank Invitational in June 2019. However, this tournament started differently with a strong early surge, including a 5-under par on the first day. On this day, he recorded three birdies and four bogeys for 1-over par, and considering there were only four players with under-par scores, he is still performing well. Park Eun-shin exchanged five birdies for five bogeys. He expressed confidence, saying, "Since my first win last week, I have gained confidence in my play," and added, "Even if mistakes happen, I now have the composure to recover on the next hole." Park Sang-hyun (39, Dong-A Pharmaceutical), the DB Insurance Promy Open champion, and Hwang Jae-min (36) are tied for seventh place (even par 144), while Ko Gun-taek (23) surged to a tie for ninth place (1-over par 145) with a daily best 3-under par.
