Toss Bank Appoints Jeong Wankyu, Former President of Korea Securities Finance, as Outside Director
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Toss Bank has appointed Jeong Wankyu, former president of Korea Securities Finance Corporation, as an outside director.
Toss Bank held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on the 26th and decided on this appointment, which was announced on the 27th.
The newly appointed director Jeong previously served as the head of the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) under the Financial Services Commission and as president of Korea Securities Finance Corporation.
Toss Bank stated that the values such as "Smart Securities Finance" promoted by Director Jeong during his tenure as president of Korea Securities Finance Corporation align with Toss Bank's spirit of innovation.
