After a company reported a rally, they parked a sewage truck
City: "Forced vehicle relocation is difficult... We will find a way"
[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] A large truck has been parked in one corner of the parking lot at Naju City Hall, Jeollanam-do, for over 20 days, causing unexpected parking inconveniences for visitors.
However, the city has taken no action, claiming there is no solution, and the inconvenience is directly affecting the residents.
According to Naju City on the 27th, Company A filed a protest from the 9th of this month until the 2nd of next month and immediately parked a large manure truck in front of the complainants' parking lot.
Company A reportedly filed the protest after the city denied their application for factory expansion approval.
The company is also holding protests by setting up tents outside the city hall building.
Although the large vehicle did not completely block the parking lot, about 6 to 7 parking spaces are occupied, causing inconvenience when parking or moving vehicles.
Visitors to city hall have complained about the inconvenience, but Naju City has taken no measures, so the damage is directly borne by the complainants and residents.
Resident A said, "Naju City, which enforces illegal parking regulations, is allowing illegal parking at city hall to the extent that it causes parking inconvenience for several days. Leaving it like this is problematic," and added, "Shouldn't they take action?"
In response, a Naju City official said, "Since we cannot forcibly move the vehicle, we will look for ways to take appropriate measures with the company involved."
