US Department of Defense: "Russia Lost 1,000 Tanks in Ukraine War"
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] The U.S. Department of Defense estimated that Russia has lost nearly 1,000 tanks in its war with Ukraine, according to major foreign media reports on the 26th (local time).
In a briefing that day, the U.S. Department of Defense estimated that Russia has also lost more than 30 fighter jets, 50 helicopters, and 350 artillery pieces in addition to tanks.
However, despite significant losses, a U.S. Department of Defense official stated that Russia still retains considerable military strength.
