Paldo's 'Ppuyosoda' Reaches 10 Million Units Sold in Cumulative Sales Just One Year After Relaunch
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Paldo announced on the 27th that its re-released 'Ppuyo Soda' surpassed 10 million units in cumulative sales within one year.
Ppuyo Soda is a nostalgic beverage re-released after 24 years to match the newtro trend. When it was first launched in 1998, it was loved for its small PET bottle design aimed at children and its unique commercial jingle.
When Paldo re-released Ppuyo Soda, it also diversified the product line. In July of last year, responding to consumer requests, they added the signature 'Soda Flavor,' completing the past product lineup.
This summer, they plan to newly introduce 'Ppuyo Soda Cotton Candy Flavor,' which holds special childhood memories. The product combines the sweet and refreshing taste of cotton candy with the crispness of sparkling carbonation.
