80 Performances Scheduled Across Jeonbuk Until December This Year
[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Jeonbuk Province announced on the 27th that it has started the 'Exciting Art Bus' performances, which provide diverse shows by visiting culturally underserved areas, festivals, and scenic spots in cities and counties.
The 'Exciting Art Bus' performances, which travel throughout Jeonbuk to offer customized performances tailored to each region and social class, officially kicked off with a performance at Jangsu Nuri Park on May 21.
The Exciting Art Bus project is Jeonbuk Province's representative cultural arts program that contributes to the development of local performing arts culture by bridging cultural gaps and supporting the creative capabilities of performance groups.
The name 'Exciting Art Bus' symbolizes 'carrying art and traveling to every corner of the region to perform.'
A total of 80 performances are scheduled this year, with each performance lasting 60 minutes and consisting of four programs.
In particular, about 60 performance groups will showcase popular songs, folk songs, traditional Korean music performances, traditional dance, jazz dance, and more.
Meanwhile, on May 20, Jeonbuk Province held a launch ceremony for the performance groups participating in the Exciting Art Bus at the Jeonju Cultural Broadcasting Public Hall and took time to discuss the operation plan and future development directions of the Exciting Art Bus.
