Water supply was cut off in four districts: Uichang-gu excluding Eupmyeon, Sogae, and Sodap-dong; Seongsan-gu except Daebang-dong; the entire Masanhappo-gu; and Masanhwoewon-gu excluding Hapjeong, Naeseo, and Guam.
Changwon City announced on the 25th that it began water shutdown around 11 p.m. the previous day to relocate the Seokjeon-dong overpass and install the pedestrian bridge, and that water pressure dropped around midnight due to partial damage to the water transmission pipe.
From 12 a.m. that day, a wooden block installation work to stop the leakage was carried out, but water continued to accumulate at the work site, preventing the leakage from being stopped.
