The Elevator Safety Technology Institute held the '2022 2nd Quarter Elevator Parts Manufacturing Importers Meeting' on the 24th at the Corporation's Gyeonggi-Gangwon Regional Headquarters.

At the meeting, 78 representatives from 47 parts companies attended to discuss the resumption of overseas factory inspections following the easing of COVID-19, the first regular audit application for new certifications from 2019, and to listen to the opinions of the companies.
Additionally, information was provided on the fee calculation standards for multiple functions included in the functional safety certification (programmable electronic system certification) of elevator control panels, as well as revisions to the labeling requirements for production (inventory) of drive chains and step chains.
