Understanding and Empathizing... Busan Office of Education Hosts 'Seoulrim' Drawing Contest for Special Education Students
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will hold the ‘Se Wullim’ Drawing Contest at Hayaria Lawn Square in Busan Citizens Park on the 25th.
About 500 special education students from elementary, middle, and high schools in the Busan area will participate in the ‘Se Wullim’ Drawing Contest.
The contest aims to help special education students express their emotions through drawing, showcase their hidden artistic talents, and build confidence. This year marks the 12th time the event is held.
Participating students freely express their future aspirations, hobbies, and more under the theme of ‘My Dream.’
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education is also holding a writing and photo contest for general students in elementary, middle, and high schools from May 16 to June 17, with the theme ‘Everyday Life and Friendship between Students with Disabilities and Non-Disabled Students at School.’
In July, 52 outstanding works selected from submissions to the ‘Se Wullim’ Drawing Contest and the writing and photo contest will be awarded and exhibited.
