According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on the 23rd, Chairman Sohn bought 5,000 shares of Woori Financial Group on the open market that day. The price per share was 14,200 KRW. The number of treasury shares held by Chairman Sohn increased from 108,127 shares to 113,127 shares.
This purchase occurred amid significant stock price fluctuations caused by factors such as the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation's block sale of remaining shares. It is interpreted as a move to demonstrate confidence in the group's future business performance and to express a proactive intention to manage the stock price. Chairman Sohn also purchased 5,000 treasury shares at 13,625 KRW per share on March 4.
