On the 18th, Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters held a sponsorship fund delivery ceremony for the '8th Communication Gori University Student Volunteer Contest' at the Gori Sports Culture Center in Jangan-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan.
Now in its 8th year, the University Student Volunteer Contest is a program where university students directly identify beneficiaries and support volunteer activities such as talent donation. The Busan Volunteer Center organizes the event, and Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters provides 65 million won in support.
The 25 selected university student volunteer teams will carry out activities for about six months and, depending on the results at the end of the year, will receive awards such as the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power President's Award and the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters Director's Award.
