Construction, Enactment of 'Conflict of Interest Prevention System Operation Regulations' and 'Conflict of Interest Prevention Act for Public Officials' Training for Executives and Employees on the 17th Following the Enforcement of the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act on May 19
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation (President Moon Young-pyo) has established the "Conflict of Interest Prevention Act Operation Regulations" and conducted education on the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act for its executives and employees in accordance with the enforcement of the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act.
On the 17th, the corporation held integrity training under the theme "Creating a Work Environment Free of Conflicts of Interest" for its executives and employees at the corporation auditorium.
The training was conducted by a professional instructor from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission Integrity Training Institute, explaining key contents such as "the background and purpose of the law enactment, reporting and restriction/prohibition obligations, and sanction regulations," and enhanced the training effect by focusing on case studies.
Prior to the enforcement of the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act on May 19, the corporation prepared this training opportunity to ensure that all executives and employees understand the purpose of the law and familiarize themselves with the key contents, thereby establishing a stable foundation for enforcement and raising employees' awareness of integrity.
Additionally, last month, the corporation enacted and promulgated its own "Conflict of Interest Prevention System Operation Regulations," appointed a Conflict of Interest Prevention Officer to operate the system, and established an operational foundation for the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act by including various reporting and submission forms necessary for fulfilling and managing the obligations of the corporation's executives and employees, as well as contents related to reporting and handling violations.
