Yeonggwang Beopseongpo Dano Festival, KH Group Hosts Top Domestic Music Festival
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] The Yeonggwang Beopseongpo Dano Festival will hold a top-tier domestic singing contest in collaboration with KH Group.
On the 13th, according to the Beopseongpo Dano Festival Preservation Society (President Yang Haeil), to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Beopseongpo Dano Festival's designation as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, they will host a top-level domestic singing contest together with KH Group's iHQ ent.
Participation is limited to the first 1,000 applicants, and applications can be submitted online by downloading the application form from the Beopseongpo Dano Festival website by the 25th.
After preliminary rounds held on the 28th at Yeonggwang Arts Center, 30 contestants will be selected. The finals will be held on the main stage of the Beopseongpo Dano Festival Transmission Education Center on the 4th of next month, and the top 10 will be chosen to compete in the final round on the 5th.
Eligibility is limited to pure amateurs who are Korean nationals and not professional singers (members of the Korea Singers Association).
The public competition will be judged by Park Mikyung, Yang Sookyung, Kim Hyuna, Yoon Ilsang, Kim Taewoo, The One, and others, at a level comparable to domestic TV audition programs.
On both the final and the last day, the event will be hosted by announcer Kim Iljoong, with invited singers including Nam Jin, Park Mikyung, Yang Sookyung, Hong Jinyoung, Kim Changyeol, Kim Taewoo, The One, Jaeha, Soyumi, Kim Heejin, and Jang Yujin performing.
The grand prize winner will receive a cash award of 10 million won and the honor of being exclusively managed by KH Group iHQ ent.
