Jinyangho Park Family Shelter Transformed into a Digital Specialized Space
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] A lake where light, sound, and laser patterns create a dreamy atmosphere, and a fantasy forest surpassing 'Avatar' will be established in Jinju, Gyeongnam.
Through the ‘Jinyangho Renaissance Project,’ an immersive content space offering spectacular visual and auditory experiences by integrating various digital technologies such as light, sound, MR, and holograms will be created at the Jinyangho Park family rest area. Jinju City is developing the ‘Jinyangho Fantasy Forest.’
Jinju City selected a preferred negotiation partner through proposal submissions in March, started construction in April, and is pushing forward with the project aiming for completion in October.
Currently, detailed content and items such as media art utilizing Soyeon Pond, bamboo forest paths, rock walls, hologram forests, and smart education are being designed.
The ‘Jinyangho Fantasy Forest’ will feature a digital education space using the forest through the development of learning content with the city’s promotional ambassador character, Harmo. Using interactive experiential content that responds to visitors’ movements, it is planned as a digital ecological experience forest where users actively participate and create, moving beyond simple play or walking facilities.
