View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] The Chuncheon campaign office opening ceremony for candidate Yoo Dae-gyun, who is running for Gangwon Province Superintendent of Education in the June 1 local elections, was held on the afternoon of the 16th at the former Diapelliz Wedding Hall in Chuncheon.
The opening ceremony proceeded with a candidate introduction video, introduction of guests, congratulatory speeches by the candidate and key attendees, followed by the appointment ceremony for the heads of 18 city and county liaison offices.
In his greeting, candidate Yoo Dae-gyun stated, "People are the ones who change society, and the future is opened by our children," adding, "I will devote all my efforts to reviving Gangwon education, which has been sacrificed by the progressive education policies of the Korean Teachers and Education Workers Union (Jeon-gyo-jo)."
Congratulatory speeches were delivered by Park Je-yoon, former Director of the School Policy Office at the Ministry of Education; Lee Mu-seop, former Director of the Education Bureau at the Gangwon Provincial Office of Education and mentor to the candidate; and Min Kyung-ik, former Chairman of the Gangwon Samrak Association and former Director of the Gangwon Education Research Institute.
In his speech, Director Park Je-yoon said, "Candidate Yoo is an outstanding candidate with excellent educational administration skills and education policy planning demonstrated at the Ministry of Education," and urged, "Please cast your votes for him as he is also the most outstanding candidate in terms of character and morality."
Notably, Choi Chan-ho, Director of the Gangwon Federation of Korean Traditional Performing Arts (Gangwon Minyechong), presented a pledge certificate promising full support for candidate Yoo Dae-gyun as the Superintendent of Education candidate.
At the opening ceremony, Byun Ji-ryang, co-chairman of the campaign committee for Gangwon Governor candidate Kim Jin-tae, attended on behalf of Kim, along with Choi Seong-hyun, the People Power Party candidate for Chuncheon mayor, and independent candidate Lee Kwang-jun.

Additionally, about 500 people, including social organization figures such as Yoon Byung-gil, former president of the Chuncheon Girls' High School Alumni Association and former president of the Gangwon Pharmaceutical Association, attended to support candidate Yoo.
