Lee Jung-jae's 'Hunt' to Premiere at Cannes on the 19th
Midnight Screening of Cannes International Film Festival at Lumi?re Grand Theatre
Actor Lee Jung-jae's directorial debut film 'Hunt' will be unveiled at the Cannes International Film Festival on the 19th (local time). Distributor Megabox JoongAng Plus M announced on the 16th that the film, invited to the Midnight Screening (non-competitive section), will be shown at midnight at the Lumi?re Grand Theatre. Lead actors Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woo-sung will attend the red carpet event before the screening to greet the audience. Both actors have previously visited Cannes with 'The Housemaid (2010)' and 'The Good, the Bad, the Weird (2008)' respectively. 'Hunt' is a spy action thriller depicting the struggles of two agents from the Korean Central Intelligence Agency trying to root out a spy hidden within the organization. Lee Jung-jae, who gained global attention through the drama 'Squid Game,' takes the helm as director. He also stars alongside Jung Woo-sung, Jeon Hye-jin, Heo Sung-tae, Go Yoon-jung, Kim Jong-soo, and Jung Man-sik. The film was produced jointly by Sanai Pictures and Artist Studio. It is scheduled to be released domestically this summer.
