The Change Camp, symbolizing a fresh start and creating pleasant change, is an election campaign committee that goes beyond the Democratic Party of Korea's one-team spirit to form a national one team dedicated solely to cooperation and harmony for the change and development of Seo-gu.
The opening ceremony was led by the Democratic Party's Gwangju City Party. Song Young-gil, the Seoul mayoral candidate, sent a congratulatory message, and Song Gap-seok, chairman of the Gwangju City Party, Kang Ki-jung, Gwangju mayoral candidate, district mayor candidates, and Democratic Party city and district council candidates attended.
As declarations of support from various organizations and figures continued and the newly formed, unprecedented campaign committee was ongoing, all those involved inside and outside the election office, including Kim Seung-hwi, former chief judge of the Gwangju District Court and chairman of the support committee, and Won Soon-seok, executive representative of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Democratic Movement Comrades Association, voluntarily stepped forward.
