[Photo] Mapo-gu Holds Traditional Coming-of-Age Ceremony for the First Time in 2 Years Since COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Mapo-gu held the '2022 Traditional Coming-of-Age Ceremony' at Gwangheungdang on the 14th, marking the first time in two years since COVID-19.
Hosted by the Mapo Cultural Center and organized by the Korea Etiquette Culture Association, the traditional coming-of-age ceremony was attended by local residents who celebrated six young adults coming of age.

The ceremony was conducted in traditional formal attire and followed the sequence of Siga-rye (始加禮), Jaega-rye (再加禮), Samga-rye (三加禮), Chorye (醮禮), and Myeongja-rye (名字禮), concluding with the coming-of-age oath, declaration, and the awarding of the coming-of-age certificate.
