Dongmyung University Holds Seminar to Launch 3rd Year of 'University Innovation Research Complex Project'
An Opportunity to Activate a Virtuous Cycle Among Companies, Universities, and Institutions

About 40 people attended, including officials from the dedicated institution Busan Institute of Science and Technology Enterprise Promotion (BISTEP), Jeong Chunggyo, President of Busan Information Technology Association, Ryu Hyunje, Secretary General of Busan Robot Industry Association, Kim Jeongdon, Secretary General of the Shipbuilding and Offshore Plant Engineering Cooperative, representatives of program participating companies and resident companies, and Dongmyung University’s Industry-Academic Cooperation Group Director Kim Jeongin and Director Kim Giju.
On this day, the seminar for the successful promotion of the third-year project included ▲ introduction of this year’s external cooperation project plans by the project group ▲ introduction of major projects for the third year ▲ special lecture on how to write this year’s government project proposals for participating companies ▲ discussion on external cooperation plans with associations and companies in Busan.
The University Innovation Research Complex Project, which will serve as a catalyst for the virtuous cycle activation among enterprises, universities, and institutions.

Director Kim Giju said, “Let’s form a close network with local associations and related businesses, and create a model case of a distinctive regional-friendly project through operating support programs that discover new companies and reflect corporate demands, thereby becoming a driving force for the development of related industries and industry-academic cooperation.”
Dongmyung University, selected for this project in 2020, is carrying out the project with a total budget of 5 billion KRW over five years (2020?2024).
Following the first year’s foundation establishment and the second year’s first advancement, it has entered the second advancement phase in the third year.
